Adobe Premiere is a video editing software application developed by Adobe Systems and part of the Adobe Creative Suite which includes several programs used for web development, video editing and graphic design. Adobe Premiere was launched in 1991 and renamed to Adobe Premiere Pro in 2003. The program is available for the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS platforms.
Premiere Pro is a timeline-based application which offers users high resolution support (up to 10,240 x 8,192 ) for video editing in both YUV and RGB with a maximum of 32-bits / channel. The program also offers support for 5.1 surround sound mixing, audio sample editing and audio plug-ins.
