Files with the extension .!UT indicate incomplete files downloaded using 'UTorrent'. UTorrent is described as a lightweight, feature rich 'Bit torrent' client.
Bit Torrent is a 'P2P' file sharing system (peer-to-peer) communications protocol, Bit Torrent systems essentially allow users to share files (most commonly audio/movies/games) via the internet, small amounts of data are sent via large groups of users to new users, reducing the resources needed for sharing files individually.
'!UT' extensions are usually seen as a 'double-extension' i.e. the '.!UT' follows after another extension, e.g. data.avi.!UT
Usually the .!UT part of the extension will be removed automatically when the file has downloaded completely.

Hi Dave,
Not sure if this will work, but might be worth a try, right-click on the .rar file, then click on 'extract files' then in 'miscellaneous' (bottom left of the options menu) select 'keep broken files' then click on 'ok' to attempt an extract.
Hope this helps.
