Address book file used in earlier versions of Windows (pre-Vista). These .WAB files contain various information on a user's contacts, such as names and addresses to personal and business telephone/fax numbers and email addresses.
This collection of contacts data was often shared with the default Windows eMail client software, 'Outlook Express'.
In later versions of Windows, the Windows Address book was replaced with Windows Contacts.

How do I edit unwanted addresses that Outlook has placed in the .wab file. I have edited the address in contacts, but when I type the person's name in the "to:"line another completely different address appears, and I can't get rid of it.
