The .VFS file format is used to store thumbnail data by Hewlett-Packard's All-in-One.
The All-in-One allocates 2% of the All-in-One's memory card capacity for .VFS thumbnails which make browsing faster.

I can't open a .vhs file with lots of photos and some videos. It's a memory stick from a cell phone. I've done everything you say in your site, but to no avail. Please help.

I have a HP image .vfs file on my SD card but i cannot open it.

This happens when the "Faster Browsing" option is turned on. To prevent VFS files from being created on memory cards, press "Setup" on the printer, then select "Preferences," then choose "Enable Faster Browsing" and select "OFF."
