The .UHA file format was initially created by Uwe Herklotz for use by his command-line archive application UHarc. This compressed archive format is reported by some to have a better compression ratio than many other archive formats (I.E .zip, .rar etc) although a slower decompression time.
It is reported that archives are specific to the version of UHarc used to compress the file.
The application WinUHA provides a windows front-end for UHarc (See software links).
