A transaction log file created by the QuickBooks personal and business finance tracking program. The transaction log file keeps track of the transactions that happen inbetween proper backups of data and can be used to restore data in the case of a failure condition such as a connection problem, a program crash, or a database corruption and works much like the SQL Transaction Log file.
These files can commonly be found in the same directory as the associated QuickBook workbook that it logs transactions for.
