QBM files are created using the QuickBook accounting program. Not to be confused with a QBB file, which contains all the data from the QuickBooks application, a QBM file contains only the financial data from the company's QuickBooks accounting system. This information is most useful when only the financial information is concerned and the files are generally small enough to be easily passed by e-mail, making them especially useful for sharing among many users.
