The .ofm file format is used for embroidery purposes.
It converts jpg and jpeg to a format that will actually count the number of stitches needed to produce an embroidery format.
Zazzle.com is a web site that offers embroidered products from images that are in jpg, jpeg and other image formats but they must be converted over to ".ofm" format first.

I received some embroidery designs with an .ofm extension and cannot open. I use 4D Embroidery Extra program and it cannot open. Any suggestions?
