The OAB file extension, standing for "Offline Address Book", is a contact database that may be used by the Microsoft Outlook program in order to store contact information, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses, in a format that may be accessible to the user even when it is not in an environment where it has ready access to the internet.
This file can be generated during normal usage of the Outlook program which comes with Microsoft Office.
