Nokia Backup

Backup File
Update 2012: We are urgently seeking .NBF files for further analysis to help our visitors.

If you have a .NBF file you are able to send us, please email the .NBF file to webmaster@dotwhat.net.
All files received will be treated as confidential and used for analysis only.
The NBF file is used by Nokia software in order to back up information from a Nokia phone. The information backed up is the same as the information backed up by an NBU file and will commonly include the contacts, calendars, alarms, and other data from the phone. This backup can then be restored to any compatible Nokia phone by the same software that was used to create the back up.

I have an .nbf file from nokia but it's not in .zip file (I read in google that it supposed to be .zip file).

I've tried using Noki to opened it, but i can't. Do you have any idea how to change .nbf files into .nbu or .nfb files?

I have nbf files, taken backup at several stages of subsequent days. Now I need to see the data or messages in the .nbf file back up. Is there any software is available to see this?

just change or
Rename the .NBF to .zip
Unpack it and away you go. It provided my contacts as v-cards.
I went into the unpacked folder to:
backup000/predefhiddenfolder/backup/WIP/32/contacts
And all my v-cards were waiting.
u can then open the v-cards or bluetooth it to ur phones.. :)
