MPF files are used by the Microsoft Clip Art Manager program and are a successor to the CIL file format that was used in previous versions of the Clip Art management software from Microsoft and may be downloaded from the Microsoft Office website.

MPF files are a compressed collection of WMF files--or a proprietary media format created by Windows--that are used to contain the clip art images and keywords for those clip art files.
