A file that is created by the Mass Effect first-person shooter game from Electronic Arts and contains all the player information including the player profile achievements, the player skills, the player location, the weapons that are currently being held, the weapon skills, player information, and their progress in the game. These files are commonly found in the Save directory of the game's base directory and may be edited using the Critical Mass editor that ships with the game.
