A client sent me information I need, but it has a file extension of *.irp ... how do I open the file to get the information? I am running Windows XPPro and Office 2003.

Hi Lost In Kansas City,
I don't have a great deal of information on this file type, other than it is generated/read by a process called "repgen.exe" on Microsoft's ISA (Internet Security and Acceleration)server.
All I can suggest is that you contact your client and ask them to convert it to another format.

This file extension (.irp) is also used by infrarecorder (infra recorder project file) and is an xml file that can be opened with any text editor as well as infrarecorder which is a great and also free/open-source cd/dvd burning client.

I'm tired of .IRP file extension types. Actually I've downloaded a book but later it was found to be in .IRP file type. I'm fed up of trying to open this type of file. Kindly let me know how to open this type of file please.
