Files with the extension .IPG are game files for use with the Apple iPOD. .IPG game files are essentially zipped archive files utilising an Apple specific file extension.
The .IPG files are by default stored in the main iTunes folder in a sub-folder named iPod games.
* To view the contents of a .IPG file change the name to .ZIP manually and then unzip using a utility like Winzip, the unzipped archive contains AAC and WAV audio files, executables, language files, etc.
