DWL files are 'DraWing Lock' files and are created by 'AutoCAD'.
These files are created when drawing files (.DWG) are opened (when the 'WhoHas' function is loaded).

What is the purpose of dwl? It just causes problems when you want to convert (to pdf) or print a drawing. Dwg file extension should be used only. How do you convert a dwl file to dwg?
