An emoticon image file that may be able to be used by the Windows Live Messenger program in order to display emoticons during chats with other users. They may also be shared with other users. DT2 files are not a completely proprietary file-type, however, and may be renamed to a PNG or a GIF file to be opened in most common image viewing or editing programs.
