Question: What is an DBA File?

Have you found, downloaded or received an DBA file, but don't know which software program is required to open it?

Before attempting to open an DBA file, you'll need to determine what kind of file you are dealing with and whether it is even possible to open or view the file format.

Answer: Files which are given the .DBA extension are known as PalmTM Desktop 3.0 organisator for Windows files, however other file types may also use this extension. If you are aware of any additional file formats that use the DBA extension, please let us know.

How to open a DBA file:

The best way to open an DBA file is to simply double-click it and let the default assoisated application open the file. If you are unable to open the file this way, it may be because you do not have the correct application associated with the extension to view or edit the DBA file.

How do I open a calendar created on my Palm Desktop which I exported to my desktop? It appeared as "July08.dba". I want to attach the calendar to an email, so I want it to open in a commonly-used program.

Perhaps I need to get the calendar to my desktop (or My Documents folder) some way other than exporting it from the Palm Pilot screen??
