.CRWL files are plain-text log files created by various Microsoft products after performing a search.
These files contain information on the results of the search and their location.
A corresponding .gthr file should be found in the same location.

I just found unknown folders & some containing .crwl & .gthr files.
(eg. SystemIndex.161.Crwl & SystemIndex.161.gthr) i do not know what these are or do but i found them just after an upload to youtube, in the same folder as my upload source. what sort of information do these files gather & can i delete them without affecting my computer function? does anyone know?
