3dize Cool Page Tutorials file

Question: What is an CPG File?

Have you found, downloaded or received an CPG file, but don't know which software program is required to open it?

Before attempting to open an CPG file, you'll need to determine what kind of file you are dealing with and whether it is even possible to open or view the file format.

Answer: Files which are given the .CPG extension are known as 3dize Cool Page Tutorials files, however other file types may also use this extension. If you are aware of any additional file formats that use the CPG extension, please let us know.

How to open a CPG file:

The best way to open an CPG file is to simply double-click it and let the default assoisated application open the file. If you are unable to open the file this way, it may be because you do not have the correct application associated with the extension to view or edit the CPG file.

This file format was added to our database by a visitor to this site, but no additional information was provided. We have yet to investigate this file type further, or there was not enough information available at the time to report accurately on the format.

Please check back soon for more information as we are constantly updating our file descriptions based on search frequency.

Tip: Try to open the CPG file using a text-editor such as Notepad, as many file types contain simply contain unformatted plain-text and can viewed correctly using this method.

I have been using cool page for several years and have had great success with the program. However I find thier help is non existent.

It does not work with Windows Vista to my knowledge and I can never get an answer from cool page as to a way to upgrade to make it work. I have three websites I designed with CP and have not been able to make changes or additions since XP went down.

I am not that computer proficient and tho I do have another program, Coffee Cup I have yet to figure out how it works to make a page with. GPG files do not convert to anything I have found so I am stuck unless someone knows anything to help me. Thanks

You are not alone. I used CoolPage to make a web site with a Windows 3.11 computer - quick, easy and an acceptable result. Moved to 98SE machine, and still happy until one day when I tried to up-load to the host, everything seemed OK until DOS ftp program stopped and I got a message saying that I was off-line etc. But it still worked in wife's 98SE computer.

Up-grading to Win 7 was kiss of death for maintaining web site.

Repeated attempts to get answers when first had problems were ignored. My guess is that the program is sitting on a long forgotten server somewhere, and simply transfers any cash payments to a distant bank. If it works, it does not, then.....

This is sad, because it is a very easy program to use when creating a simple information web site. It is was properly supported, it could be a best seller.
