An ATN file contains a macro, or a recorded actions, and is used as a proprietary file format by the Photoshop family. These recorded actions are often repetitive tasks that can be automated using a simple macro such as common editing tasks or batch processing, but may declare complex and repetitive steps. Each file contains at least one action and can often declare the steps necessary for several actions to be performed.
