A Universal Communication file (UCF) is used by the WebEx software packages in order to display video, audio, and other embedded content. Although these files are created by WebEx, they may contain software from other programs, which may be played as long as the person receiving the file has the appropriate program to use the embedded content. Because of this, some parts of the UCF file may not be able to be used by all people who receive it.
