.PPAM File Extension

Microsoft Office PowerPoint (2007+) Add in (Macro Enabled)

Plugin File
Files with the PPAM extension are known as PowerPoint Macro-Enabled Add-Ins usable with versions 2007 or later. PowerPoint was developed by Microsoft and is currently the leading application for creating, editing and showcasing commercial and non-commercial presentations. It is available for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS.

PowerPoint presentations contain individual pages known as "slides" which are fully customizable. These may contain text, pictures, videos, graphics and other objects that can be arranged freely within the page. Additionally, PowerPoint documents may contain Macros which are used to save command sequences and replicate them automatically.

Add-Ins are used to provide additional functionality (i.e. macros, extra commands, new tools) to PowerPoint presentations. They’re only supported in version 2007 or later.

How to open PPAM files

Add-Ins have to be installed on the computer before they can be used. After the installation process is completed, the Add-Ins need to be loaded into PowerPoint. This is done by accessing the PowerPoint Options menu, choosing Add-Ins from the list on the left and selecting Manage Add-Ins at the bottom of the window.

If an Add-In is not available automatically, it can be added manually to the Add-Ins list by browsing to the location of the PPAM file and selecting it.
