PMD files are page layout files that have been created with Adobe PageMaker, which is a program used for creating professional publications (newsletters, brochures,etc). The PMD file contains formatted text, images, and drawn objects. The PMD file can import images created in other Adobe programs. PMD files are used by Adobe PageMaker 6 or later and by its successor, Adobe InDesign.
