A proprietary backup format that is created and can be restored by the MyPhoneExplorer software by FJ Software. The backup file is used to back up information on a Sony Ericcson phone and to restore that information back to those phones in case of a mobile phone error or in case of the purchase of a new mobile phone.
Not all data will be backed up by this format, however; only the contact information and SMS messages will be backed up by these files. Everything else will generally be lost.

How do you view an .MPB file without the phone connected?
I don't have the phone backed up any longer, but want to review the information I backed up.
