ALX files are used by ActiveX content or applications in order to display the application correctly. ActiveX applications are a form of interactive web content which executes client-side.
The ALX file contains the HTML tags that are necessary to render the application; it is generally inserted between the opening and closing HTML tag and may be called by the <OBJECT> tags.
