WLMP files, standing for Windows Live Movie Project, can be created and loaded by the Windows Live Movie Maker program from Microsoft. These files contain the references to every audio and video clip used in the movie project as well as the transitions, lengths, and edits that were used to create the entire final video for the project which can then be exported by the program to WMVs, a DVD, or online to YouTube.
