Address book file used in earlier versions of Windows (pre-Vista). These .WAB files contain various information on a user's contacts, such as names and addresses to personal and business telephone/fax numbers and email addresses.

This collection of contacts data was often shared with the default Windows eMail client software, 'Outlook Express'.

In later versions of Windows, the Windows Address book was replaced with Windows Contacts.
