The TVPI file type stands for Television Programming Information and is a commonly used XML format to deliver the programming information of a channel to a computer media player.
The TVPI format is used by the TitanTV television listing service, and each file holds the following information on each program:
- station (E.g 'dotwhatTV')
- channel (E.g '5')
- mode (E.g 'analog')
- program title (E.g 'TitanTV')
- program description (E.g 'Information on TitanTV')
- episode title (E.g 'Introduction')
- start date (E.g '20101101')
- start time (E.g '23:15')
- end date (E.g '20101101')
- end time (E.g '23:45')
- duration (E.g '00:30')
- destination (E.g 'dvd')
.TVPI files should not be confused with .
TVVI files, which provide listing information on in-progress programming.
