TIP: Run a Free Scan for .TIX File Errors.
The TIX video download activation file is used by the DivX Player to activate the download of a video that is usually purchased. Although this file is opened by the DivX Player which begins the download, this file actually contains no video data at all and thus is not played by the DivX Player. In fact, after opening the file, DivX will begin the download of the video and then delete the TIX file.
