TIP: Run a Free Scan for .SPV File Errors.
Used to save SPSS outputs (i.e. crosstables) without having to store the whole database. These outputs are generally created from the data analysis functions that are run within SPSS.
To open the file you need a valid copy of SPSS; SPV files created by SPSS versions 16 and 17 are incompatible with versions created in SPSS versions prior to 16.
