.RISE files are model files created by the RISE Editor. RISE Editor is a CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tool used to aid in the development of engineering and information system diagrams. .RISE files contain a model, which may include some or all of the folllowing: drawings, entities, relations, interfaces, views, and notes. .RISE files are useful for tracking and modifying desing diagrams throughout the life cycle of a project. .RISE files may also be used to generate Standard Query Language (SQL/DDL) code, for database manipulation. .RISE files are stored in an XML format.
