The .QCP file extension belongs to an audio format created by Qualcomm for storing voice audio data.

Although originally designed for storing voice audio, the format has become popular with mobile phone manufactures (such as LG) for storing ring-tones.

It is reported that renaming the extension from .qcp to .wav allows the format to be played in Windows Media Player.
