Files which have been created by the OmniPage software package may be saved in the OPD format which is a proprietary format that can only be saved and opened by the Nuance Communications OmniPage software. The data contained inside the OPD file may include the page layout of the file, the text and font information that is linked to that text, and the image and image property information that is used in the file.

I scanned a lot of files into .opd format but had to copy them to an external hard drive and format my laptop so lost the program to read them.I managed to get a copy of "scansoft omnipage SE2" but it won't open the .opds, saying they may be corrupt. Does anybody have any suggestions? It's 2 years worth of research that I need access to.
