.NXC files are source code files for applicaitons that have been written in the Not eXactly C (NXC) programming language. .NXC files may be used for such things as to program a LEGO Mindstorms NXT brick. .NXC files can then be opened with Bricx Command Center (BricxCC) to view the content and syntax highlighting. .NXC files are plain text and thus can also be viewed with a basic text editor such as Windows Notepad. NXC is a high-level language that utilizes the Next Byte Codes (NBC) compiler.
