The .MD5 extension created by the IsoBuster application when creating an image/copy of a CD/DVD. Once the creation process is complete, a .MD5 file is created that holds details of the files contained in the image/copy.
When accessing the CD/DVD image later, the .MD5 file (found in the same location as the image) is checked to ensure the files within are as expected, and have not become corrupt.
