A saved game created by the Mass Effect series of First Person Action RPG games. These files are not stored in a manually editable form, but may be manually edited by unzipping the MASSEFFECTSAVE file in to two separate files: the player.sav and the state.sav, which contain information about the player including the location and the game state information respectively. These files can be created as a result of an automatic or a manual save.
