A binary file that is created by the Domino server and that contains the certificates for various SSL and secure connections stored securely for the server. In order for the binary file to be valid, it must be signed by a certificate authority. In addition, the file itself is usually secured on the server by a password.

The keyring file is also used to remotely authenticate users and documents opened by the Lotus Notes program.
