A file used by the Apple iTunes software in order to contain information about albums. These files typically contain the artwork associated with the album as well as some metadata.
The ITC2 file extension is an upgrade to the ITC extension with the main difference being that ITC2 files are encrypted whereas ITC files are not. These files can be found in the "Album Artwork" directory of the iTunes install folders.
