Installshield project files are used in order to create the installers used by many Windows programs. These project files include the settings for the installation, the settings for the installation windows and dialogs, the files to be installed as well as the defaults for the target of the installation. Compiling this information allows an installer to be built.
ISE installation files are only created by the express version of the installer creation program.
