I recently upgraded my laptop and had to do a wireless file transfer from my old Toshiba running XP to my new HP running windows 7 premium. An icon appeared on the desktop of the new computer and when I examined it before opening it I found it full of weird extensions including .in and .pd which are on this website requesting more information about them.I looked further into the files and found that they are all part of a Microsoft hardware identification program looking for illegal software like the one that explorer 8 keeps trying to install called malicious software removal tool.
