Novell's GroupWise product is a workgroup application suite that offers email and diary scheduling functions.
.GWI files are links/shortcuts to objects in the GW database. Clicking on the .GWI should then start the Novell Groupwise application.
The link/shortcut will obviously no-longer work if the original object no longer exists.
If you do not have Novell's Groupwise, there is no way to open the .GWI file, as it simply points to an object in a GroupWise database.
