I recently exported on Windows Mail almost all the emails I had on my Windows Vista computer to a new folder in my Documents folder.I then copied this new folder onto my flash drive. Then I tried to import these emails onto my XP computer outlook express but failed due since the XP computer can not open files with the .fol extension. So how do I solve this problem.

I have a Windows 7 laptop and use Windows Live Mail. The .fol file format is used in Windows Mail that went along with Windows Vista. Unfortunately, I no longer have a computer with Windows Vista, just XP. I exported my mail messages and storage folders properly from Windows Live Mail before I completely re-formatted my hard drive and started from scratch. When I went to import my messages and storage folders from where I stored the files, I realized they were in the .fol format and not the proper .iaf file format that only Windows Live Mail recognizes.
