A CRMLOG file is a file that is created by the server when the compensating resource manager checkbox is checked. This file contains a list of open transactions and allows transactional management of the actions performed by clients on the server. This file is recovered if found by the server when the process which created the log starts up and it attempts to close any open transactions.
