Plug-in filter for Adobe-compatible paint programs
8BF files are files that add extra functionality to Adobe Photoshop and compatible programs. Examples of new functionality added by 8BF files are things such as new image filters. The 8BF file should be installed in the "Plugins" subfolder inside the Photoshop directory in order for it to be recognized and work properly. Photoshop and compatible application plug-ins may also have an .8BI extension.

You can open 8bf Plugins in most versions of Adobe Photoshop.
