A playlist file that can be used by the eMusic Download Manager or by the eMusic/J program, an alternate download manager for the eMusic system. These playlist files do not actually contain audio data, but rather a list of MP3s which should be downloaded in a specific order and played. These playlist files contain information about the MP3s that it downloads such as the album title and the musical artist.
Because the file only downloads the MP3s, these files can be used to play music in any standard media player.
