I searched for the .DTL file extension to get it or find out where to get it. Microsoft says "..no knowledge of this file extension". How ridiculous!! DTL files are ubiquitous. For instance, DTL files are the most commmon file extension used in hospitals to digitize all their information. All patient lab values, doctors visits, massive amounts of data from MRI, CT, and PET scans are ALL encoded in DTL form in virtually every hospital in the country. I am a Radiologist trying to read a MRI scan on a patient at home and Microsoft as usual is ten years behind the times. What the heck is going on with you guys? For Windows XP Pro not to support DTL files borders in total incompetence. I doubt Microsoft will be a player in 20 years. You guys just have gotten lazy or stupid or whatever. No idea of what is currently happpening. DTL files have hundreds of uses when massive data needs compression and then re-expansion.
