Cassette Image File

Files with the extension .CAS are image files of 'Atari' tapes for use with the digital cassette image system created by 'Ernest R Schreurs'.

.CAS tape image files are usually created by playing the magnetic tape using a bog-standard audio tape player through the line-in on a PC sound-card and recording the input as an audio file which is then converted into a tape image file using a conversion program.
