.ADZ File Extension

Amiga Packed ADF file

Compressed file containing an Amiga Disk file (.ADF), used by many Amiga emulators.

These .ADZ files are simply compressed zip files, so renaming the .ADZ archive to .ZIP will allow the contents to be extracted using WinZip etc.

.ADZ files contain a compressed .ADF file. An ADF file contains the contents of an entire Amiga floppy disk, including the bootblock. An Amiga disk (standard density) can contain a total of 880KB. ADF and ADZ files can be used with most Amiga emulators.
